July 2025 Update

I got a new job! The stress of job hunting really put a damper on my motivation to write, but I did manage to post a few new stories in July.

Finished and Posted

New Instruction

• Chapter 16 (Tuesday, 7th Period Gym): I finished the draft and it wasn’t as short as I worried it would be! After a couple of proofreads and edits, I posted it on AO3 and wrote a brief blog post (“Posted: “Quantified & Covered in Cum”“)about my goals for the chapter and how it sets up more fun in future chapters.
• Chapter 17 (Tuesday, After School, Part 1): I continued working on the outline for this chapter. It’s different from other chapters and will be more like a series of vignettes. But it got long enough where I needed to split it into two parts. (“Posted: It’s About Time!“)
  • Bryce and Cody invite Sam to join them as they head to Cody’s house after school.
  • Sam ordered a bunch of stuff using Robby’s credit card during the school day. Luckily Robby is rich so Sam didn’t worry too much about paying for same-day delivery! Now he’s received his package full of goodies.
  • Zack sends Sam a video of Troy jerking him off. It’s part of their new routine and Troy seems to love it.

A Quick Blowjob at the Drive-In

• I wrote this story after I thought it would be hot to read about a guy blowing another guy in the car. But I love historical fiction, so I set this fic in the 1960s inside the setting I already made for another fict I haven’t written yet.
• Karl and Dennis are college students. Karl does whatever Dennis tells him to, but that is really tested when Dennis takes him to the drive-in movie theater. There in the lot, where other cars full of people are watching the movie, Dennis wants Karl to suck his dick.
• In my blog post (“Posted: A Quick Blowjob at the Drive-in“), I talked about trying to give the characters distinct voices and the joy of finding the little details to make it authentic to the 1960s.

Gay Kinky Micro Fiction

• I wasn’t feeling very motivated to write in the middle of July due to stress from life. So I turned to micro fiction to find some joy in writing again. I defined these as scenes that were limited to 100, 200, or 300 words, whichever I felt was appropriate for the prompt.
• I published five micro fics on AO3 and have two more written. But I’d like to get a few more done before I publish them. I have three more outlined, but not drafted yet.

Not Finished, But Progress Was Made

New Instruction

• Chapter 18 (Tuesday, After School, Part 2): “New Experiences and Unexpected Developments”
  • Ben: Outlined and drafting has begun. Ben is going to hook up with a stranger.
  • Robby: Outlined and drafting has begun. Robby watches an interesting video.
  • Eric/Lukas: I had a little bit written (~150 words) from the first iteration of this story, but I’m going to re-outline and rewrite it because I want to take it in a slightly different direction.
  • Owen/Jake: I have about 300 words drafted, but I need a more coherent outline before I continue with it. But overall, Owen and Jake go for a walk in the park late at night.
• One-Shot (“One-on-One Time”): I continued working on this collection three 1:1 scenes.
  • Zack/Troy: I finished the first draft back in June at about 2400 words.
  • Austin/Troy: This month, I finished the first draft of this scene, which coincidentally was also around 2400 words.
  • Zack/Austin: I also started this draft, but I’m only 500 words in.
  • I originally had a Zack/Austin/Troy scene planned, too, but we’ll see if that happens. This fic is already taking way longer than I originally expected.

Don’t Let Your Son Go Down On Me

• Chapter 5 (“Vik’s Got Some Tricks”): I added about 800 words and finished the draft. I will move onto proofreading and editing here soon. This fic will get finished one day!
  • Chapter 5 is currently at 3000 words, making it the longest chapter so far.
• Chapter 6 (the final one) is fully outlined and I’ll start drafting in August.

Anonymously Hooking Up With My Roommate

• Chapter 5 (“Oral Fixation”): This chapter will be split into four parts, each a different scene in a larger story of Mitch looking for a new job. I’ve gotten all four outlined, though only the first two are drafted. Combined, I’ve got around 2700 words drafted.
• Still, though, this fic has been languishing, so I’m pumped to have moved it along so much!

The Prince of Nothing

• The Erotica Abyss is taking submissions for an anthology around the theme of princes and the bad things that happen to them. I spent a lot of time working on an idea I had, but I haven’t yet found the spark that gives the story energy and life; the thing that makes me excited about it. Hopefully I’ll find something soon.

• Chapter 3: I finished a final proofread of this chapter and it’s ready for posting! I am waiting for more of the story to be done before I start publishing it.

Other Updates

I will start a new job in August and unfortunately it comes with a major change in my routines, which will likely result in less writing. But we’ll see!

I started dabbling in interactive fiction and Twine, though I feel like I’m in way over my head. I had one idea for a guy locked in a chastity cage in a 1950s motel, and depending on the player’s choices, the main character might leave with any of the other motel guests. I might have to go simpler, though, for my first project, because it’s already a lot and I’ve barely begun!

Over on the Erotica Abyss Discord server, I participated in the Snippet Sniper event, which focused on helping participants tighten up some prose. Chapters 2 and 3 from Kinky Gay Micro Fiction were my first two submissions, and the feedback was really helpful! I also shared a passage from a story I haven’t touched a while, and got some really good feedback on that as well!
