June 2025 Update

Happy Pride Month! I made some progress on some major fics, but also published several shorter fics, too. I’m very proud of the motivation I’ve been finding to keep writing, though I admit it has been starting to falter toward the end of the month.

Writing Updates

Finished and Posted

New Instruction

• Chapter 14 (Tuesday, 5th Period English): I finished this chapter back in May, but June had begun just before I finished my editing, so I ended up posting this on the first of the month. I wrote a little about this chapter and Chapter 15, which I posted at the same time, in a blog post (“Posted: “Kicking Things Off” and “Shirts and Skirts”“).
• Chapter 15 (Tuesday, 6th Period Math): Similar to Chapter 14, I finished in early June and posted the chapter then.
• I worked on other chapters for New Instruction, but that’s detailed below.

What Is Tamed

• I joined the Erotica Abyss Discord server and their event this Spring was called “Midnight’s Garden.” Though I joined super late, I thought it would be fun to contribute! So I wrote What Is Tamed with the themes of transformation, corruption, and forbidden desires.
• I outlined the fic in a couple of days and then began drafting. Contributions to the event could only be 5000 words at most, and that limit made it easy for me to get started. I didn’t have an anxiety to make a super in-depth well-integrated story. It was supposed to be short and to-the-point.
• I wrote it in sections, often editing some before even drafting others. But I posted it a week before the event wrapped up! I wrote about how I got to the final story and some of the decisions I made in the writing to get at the theme of “Midnight’s Garden” in a blog post (“Posted: What Is Tamed“).

Locked and Ready for Adventure

• Chapter 6 (“Masturbation”): I finished the outline for this story (shortening it a lot because I got a little over-ambitious) and then began drafting after putting the story away for a few weeks. I finally sat down and started to write, and finished after a few days at around 2600 words. After proofreading, I posted the chapter to AO3 and wrote a short blog post about this last chapter (“Posted: Chapter 6: Masturbation“)
• Now that Chapter 6 is done, Locked and Ready for Adventure has been officially been moved to the Completed Projects page.

Rainbow Fics 2025

• For a Pride event, I wrote six snippets (1000 words or fewer, in this case) based on the meanings of each of the colors of the early six-color pride flag. I posted those to the Erotica Abyss discord server before posting them on AO3, too.
• I wrote about the process for writing each of the six fics in a blog post (“Posted: Rainbow Fics 2025“).

Team Spirit

• This fic was originally one of the snippets I was going to write for the Rainbow Fics 2025 (see above), but it morphed into something all its own. So I decided to not limit myself to 1000 words and really see where this story goes.
• One of my favorite stories I used to read on nifty.org was this story of a guy being manipulated and strong-armed into becoming more and more of a sub bottom for his roommates. I loved the slow descent into the role and how the other guys would convince him to debase himself more and more. This story is a bit inspired by that, but on a smaller scale.
• I wrote the first draft in a couple days, then stepped away for a few days, then proofread it and posted it. I wrote a blog post with a few more of my thoughts (“Posted: Team Spirit“) after I published it on AO3.

Objectively Good at Sodomy

• I wrote down the idea for this short stand-alone fic months ago on a notepad that I recently rediscovered. Looking for something different to work on, I decided to give it the same treatment I gave Locked and Ready For Adventure: Aim for just 1000 words and see what happened.
• The end result was closer to 2200 words, which I finished just a couple days ago. After a proofread, I posted it to AO3 and then wrote a blog post about it (“Posted: Objectively Good at Sodomy“).

Not Finished, But Progress Was Made

New Instruction

• Chapter 16 (Tuesday, 7th Period Gym): I drafted some more of this chapter, totaling around 2200 words. I only have one short scene at the end of the chapter to draft. It’ll likely be a short one when I’m finished. So hopefully proofreading goes quickly and I can have this posted in July.
• Chapter 17 (Tuesday, After School): I finished the outline for this chapter, which will basically be a collection of seven vignettes from many of the people Sam is playing with throughout the day. I got about 1000 words drafted already and will continue to work on this in July. I’m making no promises, but this could be a long chapter.
• One-Shot (“One-on-One Time”): I began working on a one-shot featuring Zack, Troy, and Austin. The premise of this specific chapter focuses on three scenes, one for each pairing (i.e., Zack/Troy, Austin/Troy, and Zack/Austin). I outlined it already and began drafting the same day.
  • Zack/Troy: I finished the first draft at about 2400 words.
  • Austin/Troy: I started drafting, but I’m only at 250 words.
  • Zack/Austin: Outlined
• One-Shot (“Chase’s Gift”): Chase comes home after finishing his final exam to a surprise present from Gabe. I’m re-working it because I changed my mind about it halfway into writing it, but I’m at about 500 words drafted.

Don’t Let Your Son Go Down On Me

• Chapter 5 (“Vik’s Got Some Tricks”): I’m still working on this fic! I have the whole thing outlined, I’m just really slow with this one. I love the story and the idea of having a more romantic fic in my repertoire is really appealing. But motivation to write it is few and far between.
• Still, I got 750 more words drafted this month, and I’m close to finishing the draft. Once that’s drafted, I’ll move on to the final chapter.

Anonymously Hooking Up With My Roommate

• Chapter 5 (“Oral Fixation”): The final chapter for this fic has been in the works for a while, and I was able to get 600 words drafted after finally finishing the outline.

Other Updates

I joined the Erotica Abyss discord server and jumped into a couple writing events which they were hosting. What Is Tamed and Rainbow Fics 2025, were products of those events! I’m looking forward to more next month!

Over on the Future Projects page, I reorganized some things, separating the more thought-out projects from the ones that are just super vague ideas. I also put all the excerpts into collapsible sections so they didn’t take up so much room and require so much scrolling.

As I published and finished some projects, I moved them from the Active Projects page to the Completed Projects page. I also added links to relevant blog posts for works on the Completed Projects page, since those include some fun information.

In early June, I also went on a chill vacation with my family to a lake. I spent about a week without doing any writing! It was glorious. I did a lot of reading though, and that was just as nice.
